Konzeption und Gestaltung eines Memoryspiels
- .IM QUADRAT ist ein Memory, das schlichte Alltagsbetrachtungen und Fundstücke in den Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit rückt. Das Spiel besteht aus 34 Kartenpaaren von denen jedes ein Motiv zeigt, wie man es überall auf den Straßen finden kann: ganz alltägliche Dinge wie Kronkorken, Haargummis, Flaschenscherben etc. Allein der eigene Blick ist das Entscheidende. Die Aufmerksamkeit wieder auf die scheinbar banalen Dinge vor einem richten, die kleinen Besonderheiten im Alltäglichen erkennen und Freude am Schauen und Entdecken entwickeln. Sensibler und aufnahmefähiger werden für all das, was die Welt täglich zeigt. Das Memoryspiel dient somit als eine Art spielerisches Medium um genau diesen Aspekt wieder in „Erinnerung“ zu rufen.

The game consists of 34 pairs of cards and every one shows an image that you can find everywhere on the streets. Just the own view is the bottom line. To pay attention to seemingly trivial stuff, to realize the specific feature in the small things laying in front of you and to turn them into something special. It´s about developing pleasure in watching and discovering, to be more sensitive and aware of what the world is showing you daily. The memory therefore is some kind of playful reminder of exactly that.
